1 strip of 100 Peel Away Sockets.  1 strip has enough sockets to socket 4 Pro-Micros (or compatible microcontrollers).  If option for pins is chosen 100 brass socketing pins will be included.

Peel Away Sockets are replacements for the header pins that are commonly used with most microcontrollers.  They are individual sockets that come in a strip.  These are used to socket your microcontroller to make replacing dead or broken MCUs a lot simpler and less of a headache.  You will need either brass socketing pins or diode/resistor wires to socket the MCU.  To socket the MCU you will cut a strip of 12 sockets and place them where you would normally put your header pins for the MCU.  Solder the sockets in place.  I would suggest putting a piece of heat resistant tape over the sockets (Optional).  Line up the microcontroller over the tape or sockets and push the pins or wires through the tape (being sure to push all the way down)  Solder the pins or wires to the MCU.  You now have a socketed MCU that can be easily removed without the need to desolder.

These sockets may not be compatible with all boards.
